Disassemble core engine
Clean / degrease all usable engine parts
Inspect and check tolerances of all engine parts
Bead-blast all useable engine parts
If needed- Lightly hone all cylinders and re-silicon / carbide impregnate.
Mag crank for cracks, check straightness, and micro-polish
Mag connecting rods for cracks, check straightness, and install new small end bushings if needed.
Micro-polish all cam and balance shaft journals.
Disassemble oil pump, clean, inspect, and rebuild.
Powder coat cam cover and oil pan choice of color- 968 only. 944S and 944S2 cam covers will be cleaned and painted instead of powder coating due to the difficulty of coating Magnesium.
Clean and paint intake and exhaust manifolds.
Professionally rebuild complete engine to Porsche factory specifications (including complete valve job).

Many of the engines we rebuild are shipped to us, so we have a separate price to R&R (remove and
reinstall) and tune. This price also includes some extra parts such as- Motor oil, air filter, fuel filter, P.S.
fluid, coolant, upper and lower coolant hoses, etc.
